This is a republication of a post from September 8, 2022. It gives me pause to realize that a radio play aimed at a mass audience could, 45 years ago, discuss the poetry of William Blake, the mathematics of Pythagoras and explore obscure psychiatric corners of the mind to arrive at no particular conclusion other than that we all, eventually, die. It's not a morbid story. Just a matter-of-fact one.
